hen and Now - 'The Flying Scotsman', 1862- 1930', LNER poster, 1931. Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), showing illustrations of both the first Flying Scotsman locomotive, launched in 1862, and its later descendant and namesake, in 1930. The Flying Scotsman operated services between King's Cross Station, London, and Edinburgh in Scotland.
