Poster produced for the Great Western Railway (GWR) and London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS), promoting rail travel to the city of Bristol, showing a view of the 17th century inn 'Ye Llandoger Trow', with the docks seen in the background. In his book, 'Treasure Island' (1883), Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) used the inn as one of the haunts of the pirate, Long John Silver. Artwork by Jackson Burton. Printed by Jordison & Co Ltd, London and Middlesbrough. Art Prints are printed on heavy matte finish German art paper using the finest Canon archival inks.
